Ok so I am reading all this hype about Santorum sweeping Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota last night in the make believe primaries. Let’s all 1st remember that Romney is NOT going to win every state. Also these states are “Socially Conservative” states they are more worried about abortion, gay marriage and etc… They are not really worried about the economy! Also there was a low turn out as well!

So Santorum won all 3 states, let’s look forward to the New York primary 9-1 Romney wins… They are worried about the economy not abortions. When will the far right wing of the Republican party get this? It is about the economy stupid.

POINT MADE!!!! IT IS CLEAR THAT MITT ROMNEY IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE THAT CAN AND WILL DEFEAT BARACK OBAMA IN THE FALL!!!!

***ELECTIONS DO NOT LIE***

RED = ROMNEY
GREEN = GINGRICH

SOME EXIT POLL QUESTIONS…THESE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU THE REASON WHY PEOPLE VOTED FOR THE CANDIDATE OF THEIR CHOICE….

Over the past three years, the president has taken a bad economic situation and made it worse. Despite hundreds of billions in so-called stimulus legislation, our economy has continued to struggle. Now the president has chosen to postpone the creation of 20,000 jobs — and the potential for up to 250,000 more — to give himself political cover with interest groups important to his reelection. If the president is serious about job creation, he will immediately approve the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline and put 20,000 Americans to work.

The deal that was just struck over extending the Payroll tax cuts is only good for 2 months. The Republicans wanted to extend them to all of 2012 but Obama being the wonderful President he is only wants them to last for 2 more months then he can raise taxes back up.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Thursday he would tell his caucus to get “noisy” if he were trying to game out the dispute on a payroll tax cut with President Obama.

Asked about the standoff by a voter, the Republican presidential candidate also called the senators “arrogant” over their refusal to negotiate.

“I would have all of my members on talk radio back home demanding the senators come back. And I could say ‘How can the senators arrogantly go home.”

Gingrich, who has previously said he doesn’t know what John Boehner is going through because President Obama is a much more difficult leader than former President Clinton was to work with, said Republican House “ought to win the argument” and the only way to do it would be to be “noisy.”

“The idea that a one-year tax cut is somehow a losing proposition and a two-month tax cut is somehow a winning proposition — I mean, it takes Washington, and frankly it takes the bias of the elite media — to get here because I think the Senate has been totally irresponsible and the president has been irresponsible and any normal that looks at the bookkeeping chaos of a two-month cut, it’s just mindless.”

The reason Republicans swept the house of representatives & the Governor races was because of the Obama/Reid/ PELOSI failures….

When Al Gore needed support for his liberal global warming agenda, he turned to Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich to film an advertisement together. Filming an ad with Nancy Pelosi is another example of Newt Gingrich being an unreliable conservative and an unreliable leader.

Gingrich has since said that that ad, done four years ago, was “stupid” and a “mistake.”

GINGRICH: Everybody who was profiting from them [Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac] should pay the cost of having failed.

Including “historians” who made $1.6 million from them?

Team Romney is also sending around this exchange from his appearance on Fox earlier today, in which Romney addressed Gingrich’s hit-back that Romney should give back the money he made “bankrupting companies” at Bain Capital.

MARTHA MACCALLUM: “[Will you] give back all the money that you took in the bankruptcies, and the lost jobs and all of that. What is your reaction?”

MITT ROMNEY: “Well, unfortunately the Speaker is way off on that. In my enterprise, we had the occasion to help build tens of thousands of jobs. And he doesn’t understand the economy, if he doesn’t understand that sometimes businesses succeed and sometimes fail. The four enterprises I’ve led have all succeeded. We invested in hundreds of different entities — over a hundred different entities — not all of them succeeded. But to suggest that there is something un-American or something wrong about investing in enterprise that ultimately doesn’t succeed, bespeaks an extraordinary lack of understanding of how the economy works. And by the way, should he return the money that he got from Freddie Mac? That follows his own comment. He said anyone who profited from Freddie Mac should give the money back. Well, he profited $1.6 million from an agency that helped bring down the entire economy; he ought to give it back.”

Gingrich’s hit-back was a flop. Brit Hume led the way in describing it as the kind of thing we tend to hear from the left.

This is an excellent comparison piece done by Dick Morris on the differences between Mitt Romney & Newt Gingrich!
I personally agree with Morris on this issue as well both these candidates would make great candidates against Obama and can ultimately make him a 1 termer!

Ryan’s plan was praised by conservatives as a pathway to a balanced budget and as a way to reform Medicare. Newt Gingrich threw conservatives under the bus when he called Paul Ryan‘s plan “right-wing social engineering.”

“Mr. President. We need a leader who will lead us to the moment…who will help define what the challenges of meeting the moment means… and then not to be cautious and safe and sit back and wait for someone else to do the hard work, but to get out of your chair and start doing the hard work yourself to make America a greater place.”

Here is the ad that sunk Rick Perry‘s presidential campaign…

How should the American people assess the performance of their president? One way is to examine key performance metrics, such as jobs, economic growth and inflation. This video offers a comparison of some of these metrics from at the beginning of President Obama’s term to now. You can decide for yourself if you are better off than you were 3 years ago.
