The Chinese micro-blogging service Weibo has exploded with rumorsthat new North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un was assassinated today at the North Korean embassy in Beijing. Twitter death rumors are totally cross-cultural.

Here’s one version of the rumor, cleaned up from the crappy Google translation:

According to reliable sources, North Korean leader [Kim Jong-Un was killed] in Beijing in February 10 2012, at 2 o’clock and 45 minutes. Unknown persons broke into his residence shot and were subsequently shot and killed by the bodyguard.

Official Internet Rule: Any (Chinese) Twitter post that begins with “according to reliable sources” is almost certainly fake. But this hasn’t stopped Chinese netizens from speculating that the killing was a military coup, and posting blurry pictures purporting to show an unusual number of vehicles parked at the North Korean embassy.

This is the ad that NBC has demanded that team Romney remove and do away with… I personally think they should tell NBC where to go and keep the ad up!

While Florida families struggled during the housing crisis, Newt Gingrich cashed in while working for Freddie Mac. After being sanctioned for ethics violations and resigning in disgrace, Newt Gingrich cashed in as a D.C. insider. President Obama and his campaign would be very happy if Newt Gingrich is the nominee.

I have stated in many blogs this would come back and haunt Newt Gingrich… Marianne Gingrich has said in an interview that Newt is not fit to be president… How can you claim to be a moral and hardline conservative when you handed your wife who was fighting cancer divorce papers?

Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband’s career with a single interview. Earlier this week, she sat before ABCNEWS cameras, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

She spoke to ABCNEWS reporter Brian Ross for two hours.

Her explosive revelations are set to rock the campaign.

But now a “civil war” has erupted inside of the network, an insider claims, on exactly when the confession will air!

ABCNEWS suits determined it would be “unethical” to run the Marianne Gingrich interview so close to the South Carolina Primary, a curious decision, one insider argued, since the network has aggressively been reporting on other candidates.

A decision was tentatively made to air the interview next Monday, after all votes have been counted.

Gingrich canceled a press conference on Wednesday to deal with the matter.

“He believes that what he says in public and how he lives don’t have to be connected,” Marianne Gingrich, Newt‘s wife of 18 years, explained to ESQUIRE last year. “When you try and change your history too much, and try and recolor it because you don’t like the way it was or you want it to be different to prove something new … you lose touch with who you really are… There’s a vacancy, kind of scary, isn’t it.”

Is Ron Paul playing dirty politics?

In his last Afterburner of 2011, Bill Whittle takes a look at the state of this country three years into Obama‘s rule and has amassed a list of breathtaking failures bound to stun and/or depress champions of smaller government. Solyndra, Fast & Furious, the Keystone Pipeline and the deficit are just a handful of the scandals that make Bill’s blood boil. So what do we need to do in 2012 to counteract Obama’s policies? Take a look.

Newt Gingrich, in a 2008 appearance at Alegent Health Clinic in Bellevue, Nebraska, expresses strong support for an individual mandate.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R.-Ga.) said on NBC’sMeet the Press” yesterday that he supports requiring all individuals to buy health insurance, post a bond to pay for health care, “or in some way you indicate you’re going to be held accountable”–a position he called a “variation” on the type of individual mandate included in President Barack Obama’s health-care reform law.
