Yes you read the title correct! Camp Gingrich has self destructed! While watching the replay of his embarrassing post Nevada Caucuses press conference was nothing short of the funeral for the Gingrich Campaign.

It simply amazes me at how much an ego this guy has! I mean my goodness he lost both Florida and Nevada by double digits. And he still refuses to concede either race to Gov. Romney. This is someone the Republican party does not need!

With his amazing victory in Florida then the absolute stunning victory he pulled in Nevada last night among conservatives. There is no possible way the Gingrich or Santorum camp can continue to play the “He isn’t conservative enough to win” card. As we all know that it is the swing voter that wins Presidential elections. This is hard cold facts!

Common Sense tells me this:

That the Republican vote alone will not win you a Presidential election you need the support and the votes of not only a majority of the Independents but those of Democrats as well. This whole notion that we need to nominate a candidate that totally offends those possible voters is beyond asinine. I listen to Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin along with a few other host and they seem to think that we need a nominee that will spit in the face of non republican voters. This is a fatal flaw in common sense, you have to be able to work with the opposition to get things done. This is something that is currently unfolding right before our very eyes with President Obama.

Great example is listed in the poll below

Now the Republican party is made up of an array of different ideologies, What the conservative view point is they simply just want to elect someone like Rick Santorum who is super conservative and will lose to Obama in the fall by not being able to pull the coveted Independent voter. So they bite the bullet and back someone who is conservative but can appeal to that coveted voter! Newt Gingrich if nominated will lose to Obama in the fall as well. As shown in the poll above Newt is not the man. So we are left with the only candidate that can defeat Obama and after all that is our goal as Republican voters be it super conservative or moderate!

English: Governor Mitt Romney of MA

#Nevadacaucus update: #Romney: 41% #Gingrich: 25% #Paul: 22% #Santorum: 13% (with only 8% precincts reporting in)

***ROMNEY IS FAVORED TO WIN THE NEVADA CAUCUS***

Once again Republicans have taken to the polls well in this case the caucuses of Nevada they have rejected the idea that Mitt Romney is not conservative enough. Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Herman Cain are being proved wrong with each primary election showing very strong opposition to the views of these “Conservative” kings and queens!

Now I realize this is Romney country with Nevada having an extremely high rate of Mormon republicans but how do you explain Florida?

Leave it to the Liberal media to claim John Ensign is a creep. He is just as damn human as I am and as the people who write for the Washington Post.

“What is it about reasonably good-looking men in elective office who think the rules the rest of us live by do not apply to them? Oh, and they think they won’t get caught. We saw this with disgraced former senator John Edwards (D-N.C.). Now we’re seeing it in full Jackie Collins-style glory in disgraced former senator John Ensign (R-Nev.).” – Johnathan Capehart

1st off if I decided to cheat on someone I am not drug in front of some ridiculous panel and probed to death for my choice, so that rules the rest of us DOES NOT APPLY to the rest of us.

So if someone decides to cheat on their spouse it is everyone else business? Granted I understand he is a Senator and even though they are human are supposed to act and walk Christ like? If your in public office you have to be perfect in very aspect? Why then Mr. Johnathan Capehart do we not HAVE a perfect society now? Why is the US economy tanking to the level of the USSR in the 80’s?

The topics that these idiots in the Liberal press decide to write about are nothing less of BULL SHIT. The same goes for all the time and money wasted on “exposing” Sen. John Ensign as being a “creep” when we have families starving in the damn streets. People are with out jobs and all you care about is how a man got his rocks off? WAKE THE HELL UP PEOPLE…………

Fox News has cut off Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, Nevada Republicans are suing the Secretary of State, Jon Huntsman is going to New Orelans, and there’s a real live debate tonight.

Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., apologized to his colleagues in the U.S. Senate for what he called his arrogance and belief in his own importance.

Ensign, once a rising Republican star, is officially leaving Congress today under a cloud stemming from his extramarital affair with Cynthia Hampton, a former aide.

“Unfortunately, I was blind about how arrogant and self-centered I had become,” Ensign said. “My urge to believe in my own self-importance was stronger than the power to fight it.”

His resignation ends a nearly two-year saga that began with the admission that he had an affair with Hampton, once a close friend of his wife, Darlene. The Justice Department and the Senate Ethics Committee investigated Ensign, including $96,000 paid to Hampton and her husband by his parents. Although prosecutors did not charge Ensign with a crime, the ethics panel is expected to release what is anticipated to be a scathing report on the Nevada lawmaker’s actions.

U.S. Rep. Dean Heller has been appointed by Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval to replace Ensign in the Senate.

In an extraordinary admission, Ensign said he was wrong to judge his former colleagues and fellow Republicans Larry Craig and Ted Stevens when they were going through scandals of their own. At the time, Ensign was chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and had called for both to resign from the U.S. Senate.

“It was a hard lesson to learn,” Ensign said. “I hope I now show mercy to people who come into my life who truly need it.”

Ensign gave thanks to his home-state colleague and former rival, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and to his staff and family, especially his wife, Darlene.

“I do not deserve a woman like her, but I love her and I am grateful the Lord has put her in my life,” Ensign said.
