I am still confused as to why his staff walked out on him, I mean Newt Gingrich is a very well versed man when it comes to politics. So many Liberals like to remind us of him cheating on his wife and blah blah blah. I mean serious how about Bill Clinton or most recently Rep. Anthony Wiener? But enough about those guys. Th question is can Newt Gingrich rebound his campaign and capture the Republican nominee? I think he can but it will not matter because as I have called this a year ago Mitt Romney is going to be the Republican nominee. Tonight Newt Gingrich is speaking at the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference @ 7:30 pm EST

C‑SPAN’s “Road to the White House” continues its 2012 Presidential campaign coverage, this time from New Orleans for the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is one of the keynote speakers tonight, where he will help kick off the three-day event.

He will be joined by thousands of Republicans from across the nation as they pay tribute to President Reagan and prepare for the 2012 campaign.

Other speakers over the next few days include presidential candidates: Congressman Ron Paul (TX), former Gov. Jon Huntsman (UT), Rep. Michelle Bachmann (MN) and former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain.

Attendees will also hear from Republican Governors Haley Barbour (MS), Bobby Jindal (LA), and Rick Perry (TX), as well as Rep. Marsha Blackburn (TN), RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, George P. Bush and former Governor Buddy Roemer (LA).

At last year’s event, Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was the winner of the straw poll for potential 2012 Republican presidential candidates, but has declined to attend this year.
