For those that are not or have not been following the debt ceiling crisis it is getting good, reminds you of an old episode of the “Young & the Restless”. Once again Obama has shown that he lacks any kind of true leadership what so ever. He has his own party now just shaking their head, it wouldn’t surprise me if Debbie Wasserman Schultz the DNC chairwoman started to endorse a Republican candidate.

Obama doesn’t get his way the liberal comes out in him and he stomps off like a big crybaby! That is exactly what he did today during a debt ceiling meting with Rep. Eric Cantor and Rep. John Boehner and others. He is quoted in saying: “Eric, don’t call my bluff,” the president said, warning Cantor that he would take his case “to the American people.” He told Cantor that no other president — not Ronald Reagan, the president said — would sit through such negotiations. He then pushed back said this meeting is over and walked out. WHAT GREAT LEADERSHIP….This President has been the biggest failure since Jimmy Carter.

I find this absolutely historical I mean who wouldn’t?

July 13, 2011 – Congressman Ron Paul questions Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke in a U.S. House Financial Services Committee Meeting shortly after reports surfaced that the Federal Reserve was preparing for a third round of quantitative easing.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) launched a new commercial on Wednesday called “Change Direction” which contrasts President Obama’s remarks on economics in 2008 with statistics on the current economy. The RNC plans to run the ad in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and New Hampshire.

Obama’s remarks are from his speech to the Democratic National Convention in 2008, and concern how Democrats view the economy.

RNC chair Reince Priebus said that the Republicans want to challenge Obama in every state.

“The RNC will be taking on Barack Obama in every state where his failed policies have hurt job creators and Americans are looking for work,” Priebus said in a statement.

President Obama, whose standing abroad helped earn him a Nobel Peace Prize in his first year in office, has declined in popularity in the Arab world since his Cairo speech in the summer of 2009. From an American Arab Institute poll conducted by Zogby International:

With the 2008 election of Barack Obama, favorable attitudes toward the U.S. more than doubled in many Arab countries. But in the two years since his famous “Cairo speech,” ratings for both the U.S. and the President have spiraled downwards. The President is seen overwhelmingly as failing to meet the expectations set during his speech, and the vast majority of those surveyed disagree with U.S policies.

In five out of the six countries surveyed, the U.S. was viewed less favorably than Turkey, China, France—or Iran. Far from seeing the U.S. as a leader in the post-Arab Spring environment, the countries surveyed viewed “U.S. interference in the Arab world” as the greatest obstacle to peace and stability in the Middle East, second only to the continued Palestinian occupation.

Unlike Michele Bachmann Tim Pawlenty SAYS NOT SO FAST, Tim Pawlenty refuses to sign pledge against gay marriage.
Tim Pawlenty finally is starting to sound like a leader and not a follower:

I deeply respect, and share, Bob Vander Platts’ commitment to promoting the sanctity of marriage, a culture of life, and the core principles of the Family Leader’s Marriage Vow Pledge,” Mr. Pawlenty said in a statement. “However, rather than sign onto the words chosen by others, I prefer to choose my own words, especially seeking to show compassion to those who are in broken families through no fault of their own. I respectfully decline to sign the pledge.”

But before all you TPAW fanatics jump up and down with joy THIS IS NO WAY an endorsement for Tim Pawlenty. Because like TPAW, Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney have declined to sign such a ridiculous pledge.

Mr. Romney, the campaign’s front-runner, said it was “undignified.”

Perry Event 2/1/2010

I find myself on the fence regarding Rick Perry you know the shoot first ask questions later Governor of Texas. If is most definitely a political force to be reckoned with and could very easily beat Obama in 2012. Hell I could run against Obama in 2012 and easily beat him. I personally think he would be crazy not to run because he has huge support of people who already would like him to run. The establishment loves Rick Perry and so does the Tea Party as well. Only other candidate tat comes close to Rick Perry is well non either the establishment loves them or the Tea Party does. The only 2 establishment Republicans “officially” running right now are Gingrich and Romney. We all know that Romney leads all the MAJOR polls by least 35%.
As it stand right now it is a shoe in for Mitt Romney and he would clobber Barack Obama in the general. Also the only other person I see being able to do this is Rick Perry Michelle Bachmann I think it would be hard for her to pull in the independent swing voters. Only time will tell as the countdown to enter this race is fast approaching….

The Democrat Party recognized early on that despite the baseless hoopla with which they were ushered into office, they quickly realized that putting their dreams into practice meant going against the American majority’s idea of recovery: that being the notion of sucking it up through a tough spot, and picking themselves up and getting the job done.

The Democrat Party bought into the statist notion of redistribution, yet understood that to do so meant certain electoral doom, as was demonstrated last November.

The reason these same statists haven’t bothered to push their own ideas is actually quite simple: to do so would mean yet another defeat at the ballot box, hence, they’re going to do everything they can to ensure as many of their enemies (read: Republicans) as possible are placed in a position to meet their electoral doom, as well. After all, if the Democrat Party is destined to fail, they might as well find as many Republicans as they can to blame it on.

I COULDN’T HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF!
