In interviews Trump for weeks has been musing about whether the nation’s chief executive was really born in America. Now Obama has released a detailed Hawaii birth certificate in an effort to end such questions.

I do not think it was Trump or in fact the media blitz pushed by birthers and the far-right. What made the difference was that the smart ones using the birther movement case were convincing a number of States to ensure that candidature for Presidential elections must make full documentation public. As soon as that was up and running, bingo the full certificate has come out.
Either way the entire thing is sad, most of all, sad that Obama was forced to show it rather than having confidence that the system works. Add to that, no Republican candidate or President would ever have been challenged nor would any extreme left demanded it – this is uniquely the far-right and their inability to let truth or bipartisanship get in the way of their aspiration.
Not true my friend you have to show a birth certificate to validate your proof of native citizenship prior to running, the only person who ever failed to do it and got away with it was OBAMA….So in part Obama is the one who could have prevented this whole problem from the get go when the Clinton’s asked to see it.
That was raised before and it was shown – it was shown to the Election Commission by the head of the department in Hawaii – it did not have to be shown to the public.
What bothers me is that there was accussations flowing based on political partisanship and not based on the system (the system of checks and balances in place) being flawed or not. All I see is that this has put doubt in the quality of the hard working civil servants of America and a lack of trust in how it works. Such doubts were never there before, why now? Simply because of the power of the internet has allowed fringe dwellers and small-level conspiracy theorists to be able to flood the world with their agenda.
I cannot accept that somehow with the importance of the Presidency, the scuritiny on the life of anyone political, let alone candidates – the national security implications and risk of permanently damaging America – that somehow the government conspired with the State of Hawaii to cover up such a matter. It is not only impossible, it is in reality pure fiction. Even a major cover-up by Nixon was not possible to do, so how can something, that would be a kin to a nuclear explosion in the world of scandals be possible?
